Death of Faculty, Staff, or Student

Definition:
Death of any member of the University faculty, staff, or student body.

Steps of Action:
Shouldn't the family be notified first?

1. The Associate Provost should inform students, faculty, and staff of the death.
2. An email should be sent giving all pertinent information concerning arrangements for the family, friends, etc.

Responsible Party:
Associate Provost:

1. Convene emergency staff meeting, if needed
2. Convene emergency student meeting, if needed
3. Notify appropriate personnel
